Safety Research, Inc. experts provide incident investigation, case evaluations, forensic litigation support, and expert witness services for attorneys in workplace and construction injury cases. We are headquartered in New Jersey. However, we work throughout the United States.
Before we take a case, we perform a complimentary case review with the attorney to discuss what happened, potential theories of liability based on the standard of care, the next steps to be taken, and the timeline for deliverables. We do not collect a fee from you until we both agree that it is likely that we can help you with a case. Throughout the discovery process, we provide support by communicating with you regarding documents and other evidence to request, proposed deposition questions for witnesses, and an evaluation of new evidence received.
Working with Safety Research
We work with attorneys throughout the discovery and litigation process. We encourage you to call us as early in your case as possible – ideally when you are considering whether or not to take a case. As safety professionals, we will provide input that can help you set the roadmap for how to proceed. We will provide a list of documentation to consider requesting and will craft proposed deposition questions for key witnesses to help you obtain crucial information.
Once we have the information necessary for the preparation of the expert report, we will keep in touch with you regarding our conclusions and opinions. We always try to get the report to you in plenty of time for you to review it, to ask questions and to provide comments prior finalization.
When it comes time for trial, we pride ourselves on being thoroughly familiar with the evidence and prepared to express our opinions in a way that is clear and relatable to the jury. We anticipate thorough cross-examination and do our best to prepare accordingly.
